featuring Molly Berg
February 4th at 7:00pm
Montevideo Community Center
Every new home and building in Minnesota from this day forward needs to consider the future cost of energy-- and that includes homes for the working poor. Habitat for humanity is building energy efficient homes and they are learning to get the most bang for the buck with new energy efficiency standards. Come learn what you can do to save energy in your home and what the leading trends are in new home construction for working families. Molly Berg, Green Building Coordinator, Habitat Minnesota will give an overview of what her organization is doing and then field questions from those present. This presentation is sponsored in partnership with the Hill Grocery House Project that Cure is working on in collaboration with the City of Montevideo, ISD 129, Habit for Humanity West Central Minnesota Affiliate, KOEH Properties and other area businesses.
