Get ready to explore winter by learning to lace your own pair of traditional wood frame Ojibwe-style snowshoes. Learn which knots to use and how to weave the decking into the frame. This workshop is recommended for ages 10 and up. It is a two-day course that begins on February 25th - 9am to 3pm and February 26th - 10am to 2pm. Registration and payment ($75) is due February 1st at Lac qui Parle State Park.
This workshop is limited to the first 20 people who register. Participants should bring their own lunch and snacks.
