Clean Up the River Environment, in cooperation with MontevideoCommunity Education is sponsoring a FUNDAMENTALRIVERKAYAK TOURING CLASS onThursday, March 17, 2011from 6:30to 9:00 P.M.  at the MontevideoHigh Schoolswimming pool, Montevideo, MN
 
CUREBoard member Tom Watson-- a professional outdoor adventure writer and educator will lead this indoor pool exercise in fundamental capsize recovery techniques for basic river touring and recreational kayaks. Anyone interested in learning basic kayak techniques (beginners, intermediates and those just Interested in learning more about the sport) is invited to participate. 
 
PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIREDand class size is limited.  If you have a kayak that you wish to bring along, you must contact the CUREoffice for instructions.
