Dive into the heart of local history with Pioneer PBS at our upcoming LANDMARKS Celebration event on September 21 at 1 p.m. at our station in Granite Falls. Together we’ll honor the rich local history, stories from the past, and the remarkable individuals who have been a part of this incredible show. The event is free and open to the public.
Attendees will be among the first to see a snippet of the eighth, and final, episode of LANDMARKS, following the scenic Minnesota River Valley, which is still in production. Doug Ohman, local celebrity and host, and Timothy Bakken, producer, videographer and editor, will be in attendance. They will share their LANDMARKS experiences and anecdotes and answer your questions.
Attendees can expect to enjoy fair-style food and a meet and greet with guests featured in the LANDMARKS series in addition to Ohman and Bakken. The event also features a silent auction with coveted out-of-print books authored by Doug Ohman and exclusive LANDMARKS membership memorabilia. Enjoy a LANDMARKS: Lasting Adventures memory reel highlighting all seven LANDMARKS programs, trivia and photo opportunities. Join us as we celebrate and honor the remarkable individuals who have been a part of this incredible journey.
