Monte Meet-Up for Meander Art Crawl

The Montevideo Convention & Visitors Bureau, Millennium Theater & Land Stewardship Project are sponsoring a “Monte Meet-Up” event to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Meander starting at 6 pm on Friday, September 29. The event will feature local food from area farmers and local music by the Mad Hatters featuring Lee Kanten and G’ette Jones at the Montevideo Community Center located at 550 S. 1st Street in Montevideo. Next door to the Community Center short films, popcorn and soda will be served at the Millennium Theater event space. 
The award winning Meander Art Crawl is a free self-guided tour of artist studios featuring 40 local artists from the Upper Minnesota River Valley. We encourage visitors to visit artists in their own environment who celebrate a lifestyle that represents the small, handmade, personal and local culture of the area.
