Horse Power at Swensson Farm Museum
The annual Horse Power Event is held the second Saturday in September. Horse drawn demonstrations including plowing, cultivation, mowing, potato digging, raking and more. Inside the family home lefse, butter, ice cream and bread making demonstrations are held. Additional artisans may included wheat weaving, spinning wheel, crocheting, rug making and more. Inside the barn and throughout the grounds, additional activities and displays are featured. This one of a kind annual event is held at the Swensson Farm Museum and runs from 10:00am-4:00pm.
