J&D began as a startup company with 2 employees in 1980 doing repair and remodeling for commercial grain handling facilities, feed mills, and fertilizer plants. Through the 1980’s J&D grew into a proud group of dedicated employees, quality minded suppliers, and very loyal customers.
J&D was soon emerging as a leader as a design builder for commercial grain handling facilities and feed mills, developing engineering and manufacturing capabilities to compliment their construction services. As J&D grew the design build construction side of the business they recognized the value of maintaining a quality, responsive repair service. In 1993 a division known as Midstates Millwrights, dedicated to repair, was formed and is currently providing service to customers. Quality and responsive repair service is a service J&D’s customers deserve, and as they make repairs they learn from them and use this valuable information in designing new projects.
J&D has recently changed ownership, purchased by key management employees Jim Kleinhuizen, Jamie Pauling, Todd Ricke, and Scott Mitlyng, while maintaining the same dedication to quality, service, and knowhow that the company is known for. J&D strives for excellence in customer service and quality workmanship and continues to be a leader in their industry.
